The Church of FOUNTAIN OF LIFE exists for: 1. Celebrate la presences of God (Worship) 2. Comunicate the Word of God (Evangelism) 3. Educate the people of God (Discipleship) 4. Demostrate the love of God (Ministry) 5. Motivate the family of God (Comunion)
I. Exist
to CELEBRATE
the presence of God Worship: EXPRESING the love of God. “…Al Señor tu Dios ADORARAS y a él solo servirás.” Mateo 4:10 “…Los
verdaderos ADORADORES
adorarán al Padre en espíritu y en verdad; porque también el Padre tales
adoradores busca que le adoren.” (Juan. 4:23-24) Expressions of Worship:
You will notice that the women in our church
use a covering (veil) inside the temple. This is in accordance with
the instruction of Paul to the church of Corithians. We believe that
the hair of the women it is given for a natural covering, and the veil
is during prayer. “But every
woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth
her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. (1 Corithians
11:5-6) II. Exist to comunicate the Word of God: Evangelism:
sharing the good news to others. “To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God…” ( Ephesians 3:10) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Romans 10: 13-14 ¿Because our church should not stop growing? 1. Because God loves people “The
Lord… is pacience with us, not wanting anynoe to perish, but that all
follow into repeantance.” (2. Peters
3:9; 2 Corinthians 5:14; Luke 15:3-10; Matthew 3:9).
“And the lord said
unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them
to come in, that my house may be filled..” (Luke
14:23)
"And not holding
the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment
ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.”
Colosenses
2:19; “...And
I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will
build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it....”
(Mateo 16:18) Non-biblical exccuse to not grow: ~ “God is not interested in numbers” ~ “Our church wants quality not quantity” ~ “Big churches are impersonal” We believe that
our church needs to grow much bigger by the form of Friendship Groups
at the same time. III. Exist to educate the people of God: Discipleship: teaching the People of God “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God” (Hebrews 6:1) “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18) “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ .”
(Ephesians 4:11-13) IV. Exist to demostrate the love of God: Ministry: supplying the needs with love “By
this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one
to another..”
John 13:35 (1.
John 3:16-17; Matthew 25:3-40; Hebrews13:16; Romans 12:13) The true communion (greek
“koinonia”) is sharing with one another all that we have. In Fountain
of Life we believe and declare three things with respect to the ministry:

our members “Now
therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens
with the saints, and of the household of God.”
(Ephesians 2:19)
